Sennheiser at prolight+sound: Product highlights and events

At prolight+sound 2010, audio specialist Sennheiser is launching its new EarSet microphones and introducing new product versions in its 3000 and 5000 professional series. Visitors to the trade fair can also bring themselves up to date on the frequency situation in Germany and Austria and be bewitched by Sennheiser’s guest band, “medlz”.


Products
With the EarSet 1 (omni-directional response) and EarSet 4 (cardioid response), Sennheiser is introducing its first single-sided earworn microphones for the stage and broadcasting. The new versions of the SK 5212 bodypack transmitter and EM 3732 twin receiver are available now: with a switching bandwidth of up to 184 MHz and a special low-intermodulation mode, these two models for professional use now offer even more flexibility in difficult RF situations.
 
Music and events
On the Sennheiser stand in Hall 6.1, medlz will enchant visitors with a-cappella pop. “We have put together an attractive programme for visitors to the fair”, say medlz as they look forward to their performances at prolight+sound. “Our pro¬gramme includes a diverse range of music, including classic melodies, such as ‘The Lion Sleeps Tonight’, contemporary hits, as well as our own songs – there’ll be something to please everyone.”
 Daily at the trade fair, Hall 6.1., Stand C 10 A at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
 
The APWPT (Professional Association of Users of Wireless Production Technologies), supported by Sennheiser, will be giving a presentation on the first day of the fair on the current state of the frequency switchover in Germany and Austria. Topics to be discussed include the costs incurred, compensation, security against interference 
and an equivalent replacement spectrum. For translation, please contact the speakers at the event.
